My colorful, hand-built ceramic works include my “Fried Egg” wall hangings, created in homage to British artist Sarah Lucas. Playful and humorous, these bright forms create a visual bridge between my two- and three-dimensional practice. While they echo my earlier interest in the body and self, they also mark a shift in my work—toward the landscape, place, and the environments that shape how we live and move through the world.
